I haven't done a Batman Forever poster yet. I'm not sure that I ever will--never been a fan of that one. But anything's possible!

They should never have replaced Micheal Keaton in the original series.

I agree with this. Joel still would have made those movies into an unwatchable mess, but at least there'd be some consistency with the main character.

Indeed. The only good thing about the third movie was Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones, and only standing on their own. Nicole Kidman just wasn't meant for the Batman universe.

Hmm...that's a tough one. I find inspiration everywhere, I guess. I suppose the way I do these posters is I try to take the movie and break it down into one sentence and then create a design based on that. I try to pretend like I haven't seen the movie or concept art and only have the script to go on (of course, sometimes I break this self-imposed "rule"). I like to keep as far away from the official posters as I can. If I'm just redoing something that already exists, what's the point? And above all--I try to keep it simple and generally only stick to 3 colors (I break this sometimes, too).

Other than that, I'm not real sure. I guess just try to keep things interesting. I don't know, really. I don't have any formal training in this so I don't know what advice to pass along.

That's cool, I can wait. Oh, I noticed that you already did posters for Begins and Returns. And they are very nice.

Personally, I'd love to see posters for Big Trouble in Little China and Escape from New York down the line.

Hmm...nope, it wasn't me--I haven't gotten around to those other Batman movies yet. I'm a big fan of those and other John Carpenter movies, though so you just might see me do those some day.

fantastic work. did you add the movie details at the bottom yourself? If yes: because I regularly design movie posters I'd like to know which font you used. Thanks a lot!

Thanks! I do type all the credits out, yes. I think the font I used for this one was either "Tall Dark & Handsome" or "Jammed Pack", I don't recall which as they're both pretty similar.
